Lech am Arlberg is the largest village in the area but there are 3 other resorts that access the Lech – Zurs ski area. Oberlech is located directly above Lech and is linked by cable car, Zug is found a few km’s down a valley between Lech and Zurs, whilst Zurs am Arlberg is located on the high altitude Flexen Pass which links Lech am Arlberg to the outside world during winter. All 4 resorts differ in character and offer compelling reasons to visit:
Lech am Arlberg is justifiably revered for its incredible charm, its impeccable standards and a granite backdrop that few locations can match. On top of this the village gets incredible quantities of snow each winter making for the near perfect Alpine portrait. The village nestles around the river that bisects the resort whilst the central church area has visitors mesmerised with its timeless beauty.
The totally ski-in, ski-out satellite resort from Lech am Arlberg, Oberlech lies a couple of hundred metres above Lech and is connected until the early hours by cable car. Oberlech could be the pinnacle of Alpine living with slope-side convenience and seriously luxurious accommodation.
Rated as the most exclusive ski holiday resort in Austria, Zurs am Arlberg offers slope-side and ski-in, ski-out accommodation of the highest quality. Zurs is the highest resort in the Lech – Zurs ski region and has a range of very impressive accommodation buried under its huge annual snow fall.
Nestled in the valley between the Zurs and Lech ski areas, Zug is a stunning hamlet with traditional hotels and farms co-existing in a dramatic valley. Winter and river-side walks connect Zug to the neighbouring ski holiday resort of Lech am Arlberg, whilst a Zug chair lift links to the Lech ski area.
